This all day (not broken into individual sessions/presentations) Social Studies and Science strand will have 5 off shore excursions(stations) that focus on instructional practices, using chromebook apps, that will support you as you cruise through the 2017-2018 school year. Don't forget to bring your safety supplies: charged chromebook, access to your content TEKS, and access to your curriculum documents. Example of an off shore excursion is 'Sub Exploration': learning shouldn't stop because the teacher or student is absent. This strand is for all Denton ISD Secondary Social Studies and Science teachers. Stop by our rooms to view what chromebook apps we will be using and decide if this is the cruise for you! You do not have to stay the entire day in this one room. Come in and learn what you want and then attend other TiA sessions.
